Faisst is winner of the IF DESIGN AWARD 2016
We are pleased to inform you that our “Alu Style” case series has won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2016 and is therefore one of the prize winners. The high-profile international judging panel of experts had to award the coveted seal of quality from more than 5,000 entries from 53 countries. The award is one of the most important design awards in the world.
We are extremely proud to have won one of the coveted awards the first time that we entered the prestigious competition. Our special thanks go to our agency TABLO Design for their remarkable creativity, innovation and customer focus.
Our “Alu Style” case series took part in the “Product” discipline - “Industry/Skilled Trades” category and was able to impress the judging panel with its innovative design.
Our award-winning case series is on show at one of the three temporary exhibitions at the IF design exhibition Hamburg. This permanent exhibition is located in the heart of the HafenCity – Hamburg's hotspot for design and architecture enthusiasts.
Alu Style
The cases of the Alu Style range consist of two shells of precisely edged aluminum sheet. The sheets are cut precisely by laser and after edging are securely attached to the corners with a fitted metal clamp. The all-round closing profile stabilizes the respective half of the case and also guarantees secure closing. To protect the case, soft plastic edges are clipped in. The special feature of the Alu Style case is its construction principle and the resulting shape which is reduced and linear. The wave design of the surface of the shells is typical for Faisst cases.
