Founded in 1963 in Altensteig in the Black Forest, Faisst initially began with the manufacture of simple cases and cases with imitation leather covers.
The product range and production capacity developed very quickly. The introduction of the versatile aluminium cases opened up new customer groups and the company began its triumphal march.
We have been consistently expanding our collection for years and continuously improving existing products.

In earlier times, transporting valuable goods was a responsible and difficult task for travelling merchants. In the Black Forest in particular, between Pforzheim and Basel, there were numerous narrow paths and difficult passages over mountains and valleys that could only be negotiated on foot and with great effort.
But the inhabitants of this region have always been practical tinkerers and so they developed special carrying racks that could be used to transport all kinds of goods such as glass-blowing art, cuckoo clocks or carvings.
Faisst GmbH has been part of the Kling Group since 2010 and has been integrated with employees and production at the Birkenfeld site. This has opened a new chapter and ensured consistent further development at Faisst.
