SINORA protective cases are special injection-moulded plastic cases made from high-quality polypropylene and offer maximum protection for your technical equipment. The cases are expedition-proof, waterproof, dustproof, lightweight and robust to handle – and therefore ideal for transporting sensitive technology such as measuring instruments, photographic equipment and precision devices. Another important feature is the pressure equalisation valve, which immediately equalises the internal and external pressure in the event of a flight or sudden drop.

You can rely on these cases and they are ready for use at any time, even in extreme areas. SINORA cases are tested and certified to Military Standard MIL-STD-810H.

In addition to the statutory warranty claims, SINORA offers a voluntary, limited ‘lifetime warranty’ - up to a maximum of 30 years - on all injection moulded polypropylene (PP) cases purchased after 01.01.2025.

What distinguishes the polypropylene hard-shell construction of SINORA protective cases?

SINORA protective cases are manufactured from durable polypropylene using an injection-moulding process. The sturdy hard shell is designed for the professional protection and transport of equipment, tools and other products. Depending on the model, the protective cases feature additional construction details such as reinforcements, stacking contours or a pressure equalisation valve. SINORA protective cases are tested or certified according to standards including IP67 and MIL-STD-810.

What is the difference between the SINORA Slim, Classic and Cross-Rib protective case models?

SINORA protective cases are available in different construction variants. Slim models have a particularly compact design and do not include a pressure equalisation valve, resulting in a lightweight and easy-to-handle construction. Classic models feature stacking recesses and a pressure equalisation valve, among other features. Cross-Rib models have additional reinforcement structures on the lid and base that help stiffen the surfaces while also supporting secure stacking of protective cases of the same size.

Which sizes and trolley versions are available for SINORA protective cases?

Faisst offers twelve standard sizes of SINORA protective cases. A total of 23 standard protective cases are shown in the online shop because almost all sizes are available both empty and with convoluted foam in the lid and pick-and-pluck foam in the base. Four of the twelve standard sizes are available as trolley versions. This allows a suitable version to be selected according to the required interior space and desired mobility.

How does the pressure equalisation valve in SINORA protective cases work?

The pressure equalisation valve balances pressure differences between the inside of the protective case and the surrounding environment. Such differences can occur, for example, when altitude changes or during certain transport situations. The valve therefore makes it easier to open the case after changes in pressure. Not every SINORA protective case model is equipped with a pressure equalisation valve. The Slim models, for example, do not have one.

Which custom foam inserts are available for SINORA protective cases?

SINORA protective cases can be equipped with custom-made foam inserts tailored to the products being transported. The shape, dimensions, quantity and desired arrangement of the products are taken into account. In addition to the versions available in the online shop with convoluted foam in the lid and pick-and-pluck foam in the base, Faisst can develop custom-made inserts in which products are positioned precisely and arranged clearly.

What warranty applies to SINORA protective cases?

In addition to statutory warranty rights, SINORA protective cases come with a voluntary limited lifetime warranty of up to 30 years. It applies to polypropylene injection-moulded cases purchased after 1 January 2025 and, under certain conditions, covers manufacturing defects, material defects and functional faults. Wear parts, foam inserts, custom interior fittings and damage caused by improper use are excluded, among other things.
