Hand in hand with one of the leading automotive suppliers

Right at the beginning of the year, Mr. Sakota representing Faisst and Mr. Schnurrer representing the Austrian-Canadian automotive suppliers Magna met at the Productronica in Munich.

The difficulty to find a producer for particularly stable, robust and safe transport cases with a high load capacity for an upcoming project finally lead Mr. Schnurrer to the exhibition stand of Faisst. This was the beginning of a sophisticated project and a great business relationship.

The aim of the cooperation was the production of a safe transport packaging for a center console including a seat for the car of the future. Due to the high weight and the dimensions of the center console this project was a big challenge. To guarantee the stability and the load capacity, robust cargo material (Finish birch), special fittings and shockproof rounded corners were used. The inside of the Cargo Case consists of a tight-fitting rigid foam inlay and offers an optimum protection for the product and the accessories during transportation.

Moreover the case was designed for the effective presentation of the product. Therefore the base of the case was designed to allow the optimal placement and arrangement of the product. At the same time six rolls under the case ensured a safe and flexible transportation.  

Finally the transportation case had a length of 2 meters, a width of 1 meter and a height of 1.5 meters - and a weight of 230 kilograms.

To put it in a nutshell, the cooperation between Magna and Faisst lead to a successful result for both parties. Faisst always finds the best solution!
