Aluminium cases & transport cases
The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is located in Berlin and Braunschweig. PTB is the national metrology institute and is a higher scientific and technical federal authority within the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
For the product presentation of the newly developed crystal ball, which is intended to make the original kilogram stored in Paris superfluous (Der Spiegel reported in March 2015), the PTB needed a professional presentation case from Faisst, which, in addition to the product presentation, would also serve to transport the crystal ball and accessories safely and conveniently. High-quality aluminium cases from the Faisst Alu Robust series were chosen for this purpose.
