Plastic cases
Plastic cases have the advantage that they are often considerably cheaper to purchase compared to classic wooden cases or aluminium cases. A plastic case is frequently used for promotional purposes and for short-term campaigns. However, sacrifices have to be made compared to other case types in terms of design, prestige and handling. Attaching a trolley to a plastic or synthetic case is difficult in the majority of cases, if not impossible - especially when the trolley is to be integrated in the plastic case itself and not be attached to the outside.
Faisst plastic cases are available as an empty case or with individual inserts. An alternative is to provide the plastic cases with a grid foam insert, above all with respect to the costs, but also because of the flexibility of the grid foam. Another advantage of plastic or synthetic cases is certainly their robustness and shock resistance. Nevertheless, it always depends on the customer's exact requirements when choosing the best material for the cases - whether it's plastic, wooden or aluminium cases, every type of case has its advantages and disadvantages.
Faisst plastic cases
In addition to the plastic case or the “X-Press-Box” plastic box, which is mainly intended for sending small parts by post, and the two hard shell cases in the "Air Line" and "Vario Case” series, Faisst has recently introduced another plastic case into its product range - the “Smart Case”. The Smart Case series plastic cases are available as standard in eight sizes and three colours. We produce this case series ourselves in-house in a thermoforming process. We can therefore produce other individual sizes at the customer's request - for a minimum order quantity. As already mentioned above, plastic cases and cardboard cases are often used for promotional activities or within sectors where there is little direct customer contact and the transportation of the goods is a more decisive factor than their presentation. However, when it comes to short-term or ad hoc attention-grabbing measures (such as trade fairs or other promotional activities), it is possible to use a digitally printed plastic case to create cheap yet attention-grabbing work equipment that can address customers easily and directly.
